Message to Our Families and Visitors

Dear Families of Indianapolis and surrounding communities,

Following the recent changes to the guidelines from state and local officials, we have an important update for our families.

Starting Friday, June 19, 2020

We are now able to accommodate up to 250 people at any of our locations. All physical distancing guidelines must continue to be followed.

We are always available by phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our locations remain open, we continue to offer service live broadcasting and we are offering arrangements by phone.

Visiting Washington Park Cemetery Association

While the COVID-19 virus requires all of us to be more mindful as we go through our regular activities, rest assured that our locations are clean and safe. Even before this crisis we have maintained health and safety measures designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses – now this includes COVID-19. Our protocols cover everything from hand washing hygiene, cleaning product specifications, ventilation, equipment and common area cleaning procedures.

Making Funeral Arrangements

If a death has occurred, or will soon, we are very sorry for your loss. If you are unable to make it to one of our locations due to travel restrictions, health concerns or any other reason, our caring staff can help you accomplish everything virtually and/or by phone. Every situation can and will be accommodated.

Recommendations for visitors

Please follow the CDC recommendations and wear a cloth face cover when visiting our locations and follow physical distancing guidelines. If you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 please do not attend service events until after a minimum of 20 days of quarantine. If you are planning for a loved one that was infected or exposed, please notify our staff by phone at the earliest opportunity, before visiting a location.

How Washington Park Cemetery Association Helps You Support Friends and Family
